Inez Sanchez a besoin d'argent pour elle et sa fille et c'est grâce à Beatrice qu'elle trouve un job auprès d'un millionaire de Chicago. Si à sa rencontre elle ne comprend pas pourquoi un homme aussi charmant que lui n'a personne dans sa vie et qu'il soit obligé de payer une femme pour prétendre être sa petite amie, elle finit par en découvrir les raisons. Mais elle aussi, a le coeur brisé et quand l'auteur de celui-ci se retrouve nez à nez avec son concurrent, le combat de coq commence et il fera tout pour protéger celle qui partage dorénavent sa vie et de sa fille quand il en apprendra l'existence. Une histoire remplie d'émotions et même de miracle que j'ai adorée et j'ai hâte de découvrir les trois autres tomes prochainement.
