Il s'agit du premier roman en anglais que je découvre dans sa totalité, issu de la trilogie Sinful Montana. Il peut être assez difficile à comprendre pour quelqu'un de novice mais si on ne se décourage pas, on arrive très vite à s'imprégner de l'histoire. Dans cet opus, on s'intéresse à Paige Hollander, auparavant agent de police à San Francisco (jusqu'à ce qu'un traumastisme lui fasse tout arrêter) qui joue le rôle de sa soeur jumelle Lily, lorsque celle-ci fuit ses problèmes. En effet, celle-ci n'a rien de féminine en elle et elle se voit s'occuper du magasin de lingerie à sa frangine et de l'autre côté, son troupeau de biquettes. mais lorsque Paige fait la rencontre du voisin de Lily, Jace Blackstone, anciennement des forces spéciales australiennes reconverti à auteur policier tout bascule puique ce dernier est harcelé par une de ses lectrices et que Paige en paie les frais. Rosalind a su tenir le suspense jusqu'à la fin même si le personnage principal avait déjà un coupable bien défini.
